Malvern Panalytical Webinars

Don’t miss the live launch of the new Empyrean on July 11th

We’re ready to unveil a revolution in the world of X-ray diffraction: we proudly present our new 3rd generation Empyrean diffractometer, introducing the newly developed MultiCore Optics.

In addition, join our free Lunch & Learn Seminar on Monday, July 2nd at the EPDIC Conference in Edinburgh, UK.(Kirkland room – 12.30-2.00pm) where Empyrean’s Product Manager Fabio Masiello will enlighten you about our 3rd generation Empyrean platform.

Here is the list of what’s coming up in the coming weeks. You can register for free to all our webinars and you will automatically receive the On Demand version if you can’t finally attend the live event directly in your inbox!

5th – Important information relating to the verification of Mastersizer systems

Steve Ward-Smith who is a member of the ISO TC24/SC4 Particle Characterisation committee where he advises on future guidance relating to the use and verification of laser diffraction systems will be presented this webinar.

In this webinar, we will introduce an important update to the way Malvern Panalytical support our customers in ensuring their laser diffraction systems are working as designed.

10th – A Basic Introduction to Rheology and Rheometry Part 2 – Viscoelastic

Philip Rolfe will will focus on viscoelasticity, introducing the basic concepts and tests that can performed on a rotational rheometer to measure viscoelastic properties in Part 2 of thi two part webinar series.

21st – Alteration modelling with the ASD TerraSpec line using aiSIRIS, a mining and exploration solution

Dr Sasha Pontual, a leading expert in spectral geology and will discuss AusSpec’s aiSIRIS cloud-based AI spectral interpretation for portable spectrometer data and compatibility with Malvern Panalytical’s ASD TerraSpec® mineral spectrometers. aiSIRIS is a cloud-based spectral interpretation solution that is in use in over 100 MinEx sites. Most of these sites are already using TerraSpec spectrometers but were having difficulty cost-effectively and confidently modelling their alteration systems.

28th – Biomolecules: sample and data quality in interaction analysis – two sides of the same coin

This presentation hosted by Natalia Markova will give examples which highlight the need for ensuring sample quality and observing good experimental practices for the generation of meaningful and reliable binding data. Case study examples will be given to illustrate the impact of early in-solution profiling of the stability and homogeneity of biomolecules and ligands with Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Multi-Detection Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) and Taylor Dispersion Analysis (TDA).

As our webinars are quite popular, we decided to include the Q&A for some of them. You can easily access them in the list of On Demand webinars. Stay tuned to our blog as more webinar Q&As are on their way!
