In 18 years with Malvern I organized close to 40 exhibitions. Some of you might think, I should now be quite relaxed about it. But this is still not the case. I am passionate about creating exhibitions that work, that engage visitors to talk to us and they convey the Malvern “spirit”.
Preparation is always a challenge: a lot comes at short notice and I am sure something has to change last minute and things come up you can’t control.
For this year’s Powtech it was the Lufthansa strike. People helping us …

On the 12th June 2012 Malvern held its first Dispersion Rheology Seminar in Denmark. The 25 attendees heard talks on Rheology Basic Principles and Dispersion stability. The influence of particle size and shape and Zeta potential was also discussed.
A highlight for many of the attendees was practical sessions in the afternoon, where we demonstrated the Kinexus, Mastersizer 3000 and Zetasizer instruments. This was a chance to see the instruments in action measuring customer samples. The feedback from the delegates was very positive and the team is looking forward to running …

Although I’ve now organized half a dozen Achemas and close to 40 exhibitions in total, Achema is still exciting for me, being the biggest chemistry, mechanical engineering, and now biological engineering show in Europe with a worldwide audience.
Preparation has kept me busy for the last few weeks and even last weekend setting up the stand. The whole team was looking forward to Monday morning when the show started. My nerves normally disappear when the stand looks good and the first visitors arrive.
We left the hotel early on Monday morning to …

The goal was to show which combination of systems can be used to test complementary parameters in a comprehensive characterization lab for specific applications. In addition 3 times a day well known polymer researchers gave talks …

Hi, my name is Renate and I’m Marketing Manager Europe at Malvern Instruments GmbH. Based in our German headquarters in Herrenberg, I also take care of Malvern’s Facebook page.
This year I find myself wondering which is stronger; my passion for Christmas cookies or for our new Mastersizer 3000.
Christmas cookies are delicious…
Christmas starts for me end of November when I start to bake a lot of typical German Christmas cookies. I admit I can never wait to taste them. Besides, they are always at their best when warm out of the …
