It was great to see so many customers in Munich for the European MicroCal User Meeting. People traveled from all over the continent for what turned out to be a very informative and informal meeting.

We had talks on a wide range of applications from groups studying biological pathways through to those involved in maximizing stability of biotherapeutic drugs. It was also great to hear about the increasing uptake of the technology in areas such as enzyme kinetics, lipid/micellar systems and indeed the recent advances in measuring on and off rates in an Isothermal Titration Calorimetry.
For me, the highlight was the ‘easy’ interaction of all the delegates. The atmosphere was one of approach-ability and was very conducive to the open exchange of ideas and provided an excellent environment for new users to ask questions of the more experienced practitioners!
Here is just a short list of some spontaneous feedbacks received from the participants:
Dr. Sandro Keller (TU Kaiserslautern)
“Thank you for inviting me to this very inspiring meeting!”
Dr. Barbara Zambelli (Bologna University)
“Again, thanks a lot for the organization of this meeting, it was very useful and interesting. I enjoyed it very much.”
Dr. Ursula Stock (Sanofi)
“Thanks again for organizing such a nice meeting.”
Christian Gassner (Roche Penzberg)

Prof. Daumantas Matulis (Vilnius University)
