Here is the list of the upcoming webinars in the coming weeks. You can register for free to all our webinars and you will automatically receive the On Demand version if you can’t finally attend the live event directly in your inbox!

February

12th – If particles be the food of love

Anyone interested in building their knowledge of the fundamentals of materials analysis and understanding how  this can impact on and optimize both their products and processes should attend this new webinar presented by Sarennah Longworth-Cook.  In this Valentine’s day themed webinar we will share the partnership of image analysis and laser diffraction through the applications of chocolate and flour (flower).

14th – Is my Particle Sizing System Fit For Purpose?

In this webinar, Anne Virden will consider how this challenge can be addressed for particle morphology (size and shape) analysis. Introducing the techniques of laser diffraction and analytical imaging, we’ll consider how the size and shape of particles relate to critical properties of particulate systems or materials.

19th – Using X-rays to see inside your powdered metal materials and processes

Nicholas Norberg will present the results of a study in which X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) were used together with other analytical techniques (e.g. hardness testing, particle size and morphological analysis) to investigate how the physical properties of several iron-based alloy powders, produced using different manufacturing methods, influence performance in a Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP) process.

20th – Discover how analysis by spectroscopy optimizes agriculture of grasslands with Near Infrared

Discover how Remote Sensing and Visual Near Infrared Spectroscopy is used to create a process of analysis that optimizes agriculture on grasslands. This webinar focuses on the Malvern Panalytical ASD FieldSpec® spectroradiometer instrument. Presented by our guest from Massey University of New Zealand – School of Agriculture and Environment, Dr. Pullanagari Reddy.

As our webinars are quite popular, we decided to include the Q&A for some of them. You can easily access them from the list of On Demand webinars. Stay tuned to our blog as more webinar Q&A’s are on their way!
