I’m extremely proud to say that our Mastersizer 3000 has been awarded a GOLD Seal of Quality by Select Science. This reflects more than 100 reviews and an average rating of 4.5 out of 5!
Smarter particle sizing
The Mastersizer 3000 is a product that’s close to my heart. As a technical specialist, I worked with the Mastersizer 3000 even before it launched in 2011. It’s a pleasure to read so many positive reviews, especially when they reflect our aims for the product. We wanted to build our experience of making laser diffraction measurements into the instrument. Making the Mastersizer smarter so that it’s easier for our customers to be confident that they’re making good measurements. So it’s great to hear that in the reviews:
This instrument takes a complicated technique and makes it accessible
User friendly and providing meaningful results
As a technical specialist, my role involved demonstrating the Mastersizer as well as training people how to use it. What was clear from the demonstrations was the Mastersizer 3000 software was intuitive, we’d have people running their own measurements during the demos. And in training I’d be pointing out how you can customize the software to display the results the way you want them. And it’s good to know our customers agree:
The Mastersizer 3000 is a robust instrument for particle size analysis. The software is straightforward to use and highly flexible. The sample window is easily accessible and easy to clean as a result.
Perhaps most important, is to know that the measurements our customers make have real impact on their understanding of their materials and processess:
It has been a vital part of improving a process here at our manufacturing site. Since introducing the Mastersizer 3000 we have been able to mill to an appropriate particle size to help eliminate issues with the intermediate materials going into a final product
Upgrade your Mastersizer 2000
Finally if you’re using a Mastersizer 2000 you’ll be glad to hear that there are reviews from customers who have upgraded to the Mastersizer 3000:
I have both the Hydro LV wet dispersion unit and the Aero S dry dispersion unit. Both work great and provide excellent results. The software is incredibly easy to use. Parameters within the system are easy to adjust to fit a variety of material types. I’ve used the Mastersizer 2000 in the past and the Mastersizer 3000 is an excellent upgrade from an already terrific piece of equipment.
