My name is John and I am a Product Technical Specialist at Malvern Panalytical. I joined the company in 2019 and I am enjoying the experience! I would describe myself as calm, patient and thoughtful. I’m inclined to attribute that to my favourite past time of karate. In a sparring match, it helps to keep a cool head and wait for the perfect chance to strike or counter your opponent. My main activities at work are complementary to the sport. Just as there are stages to the method development of good laser diffraction sample measurements, there are stages of method development to the best strategies for success on the tatami (matted rings). On the opposite side of this self-thought collected personality, my friends often think that my hobby makes me a crazy, hyperactive karate kid, which I do find hilarious
